Potton United play at The Hutchinson Hollow on Biggleswade Road.  The team play in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands Football league. 

 

Matchday tickets are available on the gate (£8 per adult, Under 16's are £1)  Refreshments are available from the bar, while Burgers, chips, hot and cold soft drinks are also available.  

The clubhouse can be hired out as a venue, has a capacity of 100 and a fully licenced bar.  Full details on the Potton United website

Club History & Key Milestones

  • 1943: Club established during WWII; won the Bedfordshire Intermediate Cup in 1944.

  • 1946: Joined the South Midlands League following the end of the war.

  • 1961: Transitioned to the United Counties League (UCL).

  • 1973: Club President Peter Hutchinson secured a 99-year lease for The Hollow, ensuring the club's long-term home.

  • 1986–1987: Won the UCL Premier Division title for the first time, remaining unbeaten away from home.

  • 1989–1990: Reached the FA Vase Fifth Round, the club's best performance in the competition.

  • 2003: A fire destroyed the original wooden stand, leading to the construction of the current Derek Inskip Stand.

  • 2017–2018: Earned promotion back to the Premier Division after finishing as UCL Division One runners-up.

  • 2022–2023: Transferred back to the Spartan South Midlands League to compete in the Premier Division.
